IX International Research and Practice Conference on Pioneering Developments in Agriculture Science Through Works of Young Scientists was held on April 20, 2023.
The Young Scientists Council under the SFRCA RAS, headed by its Chair, Mr Roman Rybakov, organized the Conference.
Representatives of the academia and scientists from other countries, like Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Bulgaria, presented results of their work, along with their colleagues from other cities of Russia.
The reports were divided into priority sections of agriculture.
The participants discussed the most trending issues in agriculture and their solutions.
The event was held with cheerful tone.
The reports were interesting and fascinating, and discussions that followed were active and inclusive.
Here is how the Young Scientists Council Chair, Roman Rybakov, commented on the conference:
“The Young Scientists Council under the SFRCA RAS was tasked to arrange our traditional scientific conference for the young scientists from Russia and other countries, to cover various directions in agricultural industry researches.
This conference is traditionally held once every two years, and this one was the ninth, a pre-anniversary conference!
The main goal that we pursued was to establish bonds between young scientists from different research, scientific, and educational institutions in Russia and abroad, as well as to foster exchange of scientific ideas and make science popular among the youth.
Now, when the conference is over, we may state that the organizing committee managed to successfully fulfil all its tasks!
This year, our conference was a special event that hosted a Plenary session with reports made by outstanding scientists, well-known not only in Russia, but far beyond its borders!
They shared results of their researches and priceless experience, and we were glad to give young scientists an opportunity to expand their perspectives and learn about promising directions in science.
Furthermore, we managed to arrange an exhibition to showcase scientific achievements of the participants.
In my opinion, it is very important and useful to arrange such conferences for young scientists.
As this was the first time I took part in organizing such a scientific conference, a large and international event, I was interested in what the young scientists thought of participating in the event.
When talking to the participants, it appeared that many speakers were new to an international scientific conference, they were truly thankful for the opportunity to share their opinions with colleagues on a wide spectrum of issues!
Thus, our scientific conference became a point of entry to scientific knowledge sharing for those who will become the main driving force for Russia development for decades to come.
The most fascinating were discussions on sections dedicated to biotechnologies and veterinary science, as well as plant protection and environmental issues.
There, we saw many researches on concurrent topics, so all the participants were interested to take part in discussions!
Furthermore, I would like to state that in many works of young scientists that were present on the conference, we could see that they were affected by the changing climate, which only shows how important it is to facilitate work in this direction.
Today, we encompass experience of previous generations and form the agenda for tomorrow.
Among other things, our plans for the future are to hold the next conference in two years, an anniversary, the Tenth International Research and Practice Conference on Pioneering Developments in Agriculture Science Through Works of Young Scientists.
We also expect to increase the number of participating countries from which young scientists will come to take part in the conference.
Our major task, as I see it, would be to establish international cooperation to provide even more opportunities to share experience between participants!
We are eager to continue the support of young scientists and give them a way to share results of their researches in order to foster the scientific discussions in the agricultural industry.”
Let us note that Mr Rybakov himself took part in the conference with a report on Automation, Technical and Technological Supply of Cultivation Structures.
